For the safe management of hazardous substances and the monitoring of relevant chemical regulations, Wohlrab is introducing the hazardous substances software GeSi3 from GeSi Software GmbH across all locations.
The software-assisted management of hazardous substances and the associated safety data sheets supports us as a downstream user in fulfilling our legal obligations and offers both us and our business partners concrete advantages in terms of:
- Occupational health and safety,
- legal certainty and conformity in accordance with the REACH regulation of our materials used,
- compliance with individual, industry-dependent substance regulations (material compliance).
How is this implemented? Provided safety data sheets are automatically read in using the SDBcheck® platform and checked for plausibility and REACH conformity. The resulting list of hazardous substances in GeSi3 enables the simple creation of operating instructions and is rolled out across all sites thanks to a multilingual intranet portal. It also facilitates monitoring substance bans or restrictions, such as the REACH candidate list. Individual, industry-specific substance lists can also be entered and monitored.
